So I'm trying to get one more engine mount from the dealer before they're all gone. Seems they were discontinued recently (anyone know of a dealer still stocking?). There are a few left in the dealer network system(at least in Canada, but he said US as well), but the 2nd one I've received since the first proper one has been with offset flanges. Meaning, the flanges on the sides of the mount, with the 3 holes in it to bolt to frame, well one side has the flange at the top. So one side has flange on bottom, other side has flange on top. Pretty sure that doesn't work with our trucks, we need both engine mounts to have both flanges on both sides at the bottom, so it can bolt to our frame.
The part number the guy gets from his computer diagram is the same for both side engine mounts, meaning they're interchangeable. Although it kinda looks like one mount in the picture could be offset, but the other one in the picture clearly has both flanges on the bottom. But regardless of what the picture MAY look like, the system says same part number for both sides.
Even the second mount I received had a note tag stuck to it saying "wrong part", and "WPFN"(Wrong Part For Number).
The guy even called a couple other dealerships back east who were showing 1 engine mount in stock, and asked the guys to look at what they had, and they said the mounts they had had offset flanges!!!
So what the ****?
