Hi Guys,

It does look like my Engine Mounts are pretty shot. It might be causing the 'weird clunk', but I certainly need to replace them. I have heard from some members to stay away from the Urethane mounts, as they transmit too much vibration, but does anyone have any tips or procedures I should follow? It looks like a pain in the patootie to change them out.

Any tips, tricks, recommended procedures, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rob :)

I have a hoist at work, so I put my truck up in the air and then used a screw jack to raise the engine off the mounts. You can do it though on your back with just a floor jack. It really wasn't bad, but I had air tools and a car lift.
