Engine leaks?

I've got what appears to be two different leaks on my engine. I shoved cardboard under the engine and there is a diesel drip/leak on the passenger side at the back of the engine. On the driver's side there is definitely an oil leak and it appears to be coming from the connection of the oil filter mount to the engine block. This leak started when I started using synthetic motor oil. My bigger leak and greater concern is the diesel leak and where is it coming from?

FFM or the hoses going to it or between it and the IP.

Recently I replaced my hose going to the T.

FFM = Fuel Filter Manager?

T?

Do I need to remove the intake manifold to get at these hoses?

The T is the drain on the thermostat housing.

I just did mine recently and just removed the FFM (fuel filter manager), spliced the new hose onto the old and pulled them through. If you have plans on doing the FTB (feed the beast) mods this would be the time to do it

Do you think the FTB mods are worthwhile? I have the A Team, tune and basically all other mods but FTB. Does FTB make difference in performance?

I raised the FFM in my burb so I don't have to take out the intake.

There are 2 o-rings in the FFM also that you may want to check.
The one for the heater has a bigger chance of leaking and it is at the bottom.

Check the picture thread, Tim did an awesome instruction on how to change the o-ring.
It is probably together with FTB pictures.

Many say FTB makes a difference, I haven't pulled any loads with my truck since the install so I have no opinion yet.

FFM or IP and related hoses will drain out at the converter cover drain hole. Fuel lines run on the driver side of the engine. You likely have a return line or injector leak on the passenger side. The last injector with the cap will leak onto the exhaust and vaporize making it hard to find. It is also a 'joy' to get to...

Orings etc in the 4x4 adapter go out on a regular basis. I recommend the dealer or PMD cable for new orings. You could check and see if the big bolt is tight first. Different years have different seal designs.

It looks like it's mostly dripping out of the torque converter. I'm going to dive into the FFM and fuel lines first.
