EGR blocker plate

OK so I ordered my downpipe today and when I wanted to order a blocker plate they said it was discontinued by PPE. Does anyone have a template or a plate they may not be using that I can borrow to make a plate. If nothing else does anyone know where else to get one of these plates for the LLY motor, or will just unplugging the egr work for me????
 
I believe that merchant had them made of stainless for about $15. I made my own from a template I downloaded from the other site .
 
Do a search on ebay for "DURAMAX-EGR-BLOCK-OFF-PLATE-04-5-05-LLY". I see a plate + a gasket for $9.99 + shipping. I have never done business with that vendor, though.
 
You're better off with someone like Kennedy Diesel or Merchant. Choose vendors that support us and KNOW WTF they are talking about.

Ummm..... while I agree with your message of supporting the vendors that support us (I ardently do so), neither of those vendors support this site....

Lol.......true. I bought mine from eBay and it was just fine. It's a small piece of flat stainless, how bad can you screw it up? Not to mention, helping a vendor is one thing, but paying 1/3 the price for the exact same product is another.
 
Any one ever have a prob with a fuel knock or injector knock? If so how do you fix it. I have no codes or no programmer installed as well. BUt it is so annoying.
 
Power service Diesel Kleen fixed my knock and after that I cleaned my maf sensor. So far all is good and back to power.
