Duramax turbo install in Hague SK?

If I had some extra time I would go and look at this truck. It is located about 40 mins away from me. Maybe cskemps could take a gander - he is closer to Hague than I am.

He says he has a DMAX turbo on his 6.5.

Yes, his price is rediculous, but I want to know if anyone else has run across a DMAX turboed 6.5....

Ah crap i whish i would have knowen about it sooner. I was thru there today and am not going back that way for awhile.

It could work cause the first generation DMAX didn't have the VVT turbos did they? You could run them with a simple system like a turbo master right. I might be wrong though.

The VNT came about in the Dmax in the 2004.5 MY when the LLY replaced the LB7.
IIRC it's a Garrett GT37VA.

I dunno what turbo (as far as brand/model) was in the original 01-04 LB7's, but it was wastegated.
