Today going to work I passed a Gmc late 90's suburban. I couldn't get a picture but I had duals with the rear flares like a pickup, with a small cut out int the flare for the rear door handle. It had 3500 emblems on it. Cool looking tow rig. Was this an option or did this fella from Utah just do a good custom job?

Yes it was an option. Check the :redneck: modification box for it after delivery...

The factory never made a dual or 1 ton burb.

Actually gM DID make a few, but they were all built for government contracts in the late 90's, and I'm pretty sure none were ever sold on the open market. The one you seen was most likely a custom done up one. This used to be a pretty common mod back in the 80's as you used to see a few here and there of the square bodies with duals underneath the back.

It was a clean job, but nothing else on the rig looked upgraded so it just got me to wondering. I saw a couple of the older ones, they were obvious.
As for the redneck line-I resemble that remark. :thankyou2:
