All:
A while back I posted that I had some DTC issues since reinstalling my engine.
I bought and installed a new #5 PMD resistor which fixed part of the problem.
Now, I can start the engine and the SES light will be off, but within about 5 minutes it will come on. It always ends up being 34 (stepper motor fault) and 88 (TDC offset).
This is causing issues as I can't get my timing set properly and cold starts are a pain because of it. I am running around 8.5* desired and my TDCO defaults to -2.02* all the time.
The bright side is, as soon as any temp begins to register on the dash, the truck runs quite well.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
