So since I Lifted my Truck, I need a New Drop Hitch now.

I need about a 7" to 9" Drop so I can Handle my Various Trailers. It must be a Tri-Baller and have an Adjustable Ball Height as well.

The only one I Found so far has been the B&W Hitches. Are they Good? Long Lasting?

Any other Brands out there that I am Missing?

Look into the master lock 2841AT. I have one and have had it since 2005 and have had zero issues out of it.

For a ball, I am about to purchase convert-a-ball interchangeable ball set in stainless 902B.

Wish you luck!

There is a lot of choices out there on this.

I like my DT adjustable hitch(Aluminum)...only a double ball thoughRapid hitch makes and aluminum adjustable one as well...

That Master Setup is pretty Cool.

How good do the Balls Lock In though? Any Chance of them coming Loose?

Well, the Master is Out for me. It has a Max Load of only 5k Pounds.

So back to the B&W, which has a 10k Pound Rating...unless there is another Setup out there that can Handle 10k Pounds.

I had the non stainless convertaball it rusted on in short order went to the SS version been good to go ever since. (several years ago)

James: Their is a "solid tow" Diversi-Tech (Diversi-Tech Ball Mounts - DTSTBM6800-3S) setup on etrailer that comes with the drop your looking for and 1.7/8, 2, and 2 5/16 stainless steel hitch balls.

12K rating, but it depends on the ball size that you use.

just use the convertaball system on it

I Saw they they Sell it in the "Build Your Own" Section, but they don't have a Tongue for the Drop Bar that will Work. The only one they have it that one that Swivels away, but it's only good up to 6k Pounds.

Unless I'm Missing it?

That's a similar setup to what I listed. You can get a 2 & 2 5/16 ball and a 1 7/8" and 2" setups on the Innovative hitch. Then you can add a step, mudflaps, etc.

I guess I'm lucky, nothing we tow is 1 7/8". All our trailers are 2" or 2 5/16", or farm implements with a pin. I do wish they'd make a "reciever" end that was rated for 10k, etc for that Innovative hitch. Might not be a bad idea to e-mail them and tell them we'd buy it, lol.

Ok, I'm getting ready to Order a Hitch here in the next Week or 2.

Here's where I'm at.

I can Deal with only having a 2" & 2 5/16" Ball...but still Prefer the Tri Baller.

I'm going to be Leaving the Hitch Installed 365 Days a Year.

B&W - LOVE this Hitch, it Offers everything I want, but...you can't Lock the Slide to the Hitch, you have to Use the Removable Pins, and B&W doesn't make a Locking Pin for it.

DT Hitch - Like this Hitch, it Offers a Dual Ball Setup, and everything can be Locked. But...with it being made of Aluminum Scares me. I've Read the Stories of People having theirs Break or show Signs of Stress, even when the Hitch has been Loaded WELL Below it's Capacity. Also, being in a Cold Climate, People have said the Aluminum isn't Good or "Trustworthy" when Towing Heavy when it's Cold Out.

Inventive Hitch - Like it as well, Offers a Dual Ball Setup, but...like the B&W, the Hitch Pins can't be Locked, can only be Locked into the Receiver.

Andersen 14k EZ Hitch - Like it as well, Offers a Dual Ball Setup, but...like the Others, the Hitch Pins can't be Locked, can only be Locked into the Receiver.

Anyone able to Offer some more Insight or make my Decision Easier?
