draining the cooling system

The drain on the drivers side of the rad is the only one I know of. It's a bit messy, I drilled a hole directly below the drain on the lower flashing so the coolant doesn't run all over the lower rad support.
 
I drain most of the coolant by siphoning it out with a 1/4" hose stuffed down the rad trough the upper radiator hose connection.
The block can't be drained below the waterpump unless you pop a freeze plug out on the pass side and the block heater on the dr side.

I drilled and tapped my block and installed 2 draincocks on the 98 when i did the rebuild.
