Does bull dog leave gost trails that the gm tec can pick and then gm will void your warranty. Would this work if that is the case buy an additional PCM, tune it all you want, then swap the stocker back in for warrantee work.

I will tell you when I got EFI that I read the factory tune and it wasn't a factory tune, there were some parameters that never returned to stock for some reason. Hope this helps.

handheld won't leave any ghost trail if you do it right....you for starters need to return the truck to stock setting, then you have to disconnect your batteries and turn your lights on for about an hour or two, this will drain all residual power from the system and clear the memory banks, then you need to start the truck and turn it off at least 10 times...

This will clear the memory and then it will create a new one...There is no way for the stealerships to know that there was a programmer on the truck....

HP Tuners and EFI Live along with other custom tunes are a little more difficult to erase

however....no dealer can void your warranty for a programmer unless you are using hot codes....if its a simple hand held, they can't do it...they'll try, but the Magnusson-Moss act of 1975 says otherwise...

look it up its good reading for anyone who mods their trucks
