Does anybody close by need a couple of good dual post batteries?

I did a dumb thing. Actually several dumb things all at once.

The Tahoe was slow cranking, I looked at the batteries, saw they were about 5 years old and got 2 new batteries. When I pulled the batteries, the drivers side had an obvious bad connection.

I load tested the batteries and they both tested as new.

I would sell them for $10 each with trade in batteries or $20 each alone. I'm sure I won't need them til after I take them in for core charge or sell them.

The first dumb thing of the day was to drive by the gas station and run our of fuel 1 mile later. I still have replaced the sending unit on the Tahoe. The odometer only showed 300 miles so I should have had at least 200 miles to go on a bad day. Somebody must have bumped the trip odometer since the last fill up.

Given the milage I didn't think I was out of fuel til all I got was air when I tried to prime the fuel filter that didn't really need changing after all.

Hopefully I get to changing the sending unit soon. Still haven't checked out the install on the aftermarket. I'm either going that route or ACDelco. Just hate spending $300 for an AC sending unit.

i got a compressor that was working when i pulled it off.. the h/l side ports leeaked on my truck and will most like run then a/c compressor that cam with then dmax im putting in.

That is NOT the whole FSU, just replacing the part that shows the fuel level aka fuel level gauge.

You still need to buy an FSU or use the current one.

Thanks That is all I need at present. You never know what condition the top of the tank is in til you drop it. I've ended up replacing the whole tank before.

How much does a whole tank run? I am going to drop mine soon. The sending unit is not working and I think my tank sock is clogged. Still having difficulty getting good fuel pressure even with the Walbro.

Oh, and I have recently replaced my batteries so; Thanks for the offer.
