I have been fighting a serious SQUEEK in the front end. I greased all the fittings tonight (except one - couldn't find it). I looked closer at the passenger side after I was done. I think I put about 5 pumps from the grease gun. Is this going to go POP!?

It should have a seep hole for the extra greese to escape. I have never seen one pop. But, when they are over filled the will leak out.

That is a little tight, but it should seep out.

There are 11 zerks in the front of our trucks.

I think it's 7 or 8 that I can't find. I believe it's the one under the AC compressor that should be replaced with the 90. I got 10 of the 11.

does it not affect the life of the joint if the boot blows or comes off?
I had this happen to my tie rod boot also.

Yes, you'll get grit/water and road dirt in there and it can rust. You'll need to change it in the future, not a crisis though, IMHO.

Thats weird, should have seeped out and not blow up like that. Maybe there is grim plugging the seep hole? Maybe un bolt the tie rod from that side and pop the boot off and clean it out and re install and fill again.
