Did hector change names??

I checked this users ID history it says that they joined june 18,2009. This name doesn't have any of hectors former names(hectorwithinjectors, hectorwithinjectors1) either. I don't think it's hector.

Google the phone number in the ebay listing and you will find that it is the same number given by hector in previous auctions...:mad2:

Please also note the text at the bottom of the ad that says: "PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ANY OF THE FOLLOWING LISTED ABOVE,
PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM ME. "

The ME would suggest to me that it is one guy (aka hector), as opposed to "us" as in Arizona Diesel Injection Service (a company).

Regards.

This is my experience with Hector with injectors.
I was one of his first customers when he came on ebay, I bought marine injectors from him first. No problems with those.
Then I bought a 4911 db2 IP from him. It was supposed to be a brand new rebuilt. Got the thing installed and fired up. Next day go to start it and it wont start. After screwing around with it for several more hours the problem turned out to be that the linkage under the IP cover plate was stuck in the off position. So, I free it up and it starts right up again. Shut it down and try to restart and it won't. The linkage got stuck in the off position everytime I shut it down.
So, I pull that IP and take it to my local Stanadyne shop for a rebuild. It still had the old style head and rotor in it and according to the local rebuilder it looks like it was not ever rebuilt before.
What was so agrivating other than throwing $500 away was It takes me atleast 8 hours to do an IP swap and I had to do it twice because of this problem.
I can understand that problems can happen with parts, but for them to have sold one as "rebuilt" that was not AND! still had the old head and rotor in it along with the linkage problem is to much to excuse.
Anyway thats my story.

FOr your troubles and for others, He will never see a penny of mine, and shall share the word. Knowing the trouble and effort involved in swapping an IP out, and to intentionally sell a questionable, non-rebuilt product and selling it as a reman, is just as bad as it gets....
