Did all H1s have mechanical fuel injection, or what was the cutoff for electronic?

I'm looking (casually, not seriously) at a 1995 H1. Does this 6.5 have mechanical or electronic fuel injection? From the SSDiesel site, it looks like electronic injection started for the 1996MY? Is that right?

Electronic Injection started in 1994. I have only been up close to a few civilian HMMWV. It would be easier to determine which one it is. Look at the top center of the motor for the cables for the pedals. They can not be missed.

For the H1 it was around 95 or 96 when they went to the DS4 IP. I'm pretty sure the last DB2's used were in 95 as 96 was OBD2 and required the use of the DS4 for the most part.

My 95 is db2. Have not seen any 95's with ds4. I have a friend with a January 96, obd2, but still db2. Only 20,000 miles on that rig, definately stock garage queen.

I know another guy with a 96, as soon as I can see him I will take a look at his, he wants me to check his trans for him. I will let you know, but it might be the weekend.

Just looked at another January 96 and it had a ds4. Maybe the other one was snuck under the radar with the db2?
