Custom Decals

[96GMC6.5L]

I am looking for some custom decals to put in place of the 4x4. What do you guys think, which ones do you like/ don't like?

JMHO, I love the idea, but not those designs. I wonder if the solid numbers,similar the the factory style, would be more my style.

The ones in the attachment look like they were done with MS Paint, The lines aren't real crisp?

Again, these opinions are mine only, and I also hate onions, if that means anything.

I know they aren't crisp. These are just previews that were available through a place that does decals online. I copied and pasted and made things bigger which also adds to the pixelated look. The Z6.5 would be chrome.

jmho...but the 6.5 should be charcoal next to the a metallic silver Z with Detroit Diesel in Red...that would be trick and be as close to factory as possible...

Right now the Z is in chrome. You think silver would be better? How about one of the two new ones on the right?

They have stickers now that look like diamond plate.....if your into that kind of thing.

I do think the silver would look better...JMHO

but both of those look great!

but the two tone one(red/black) seems sort of an embellishment on the duramax emblem...that may be what you're trying to accomplish I don't know...

but I like it with the all red text though like the Z71 logo was...

When I had my 2500(LD)6.5 I put Z71 wheels on it and changed the 4x4 sticker out to a Z71 sticker...I then added a small red bowtie to match the off road lettering behind it...it looked sweet...(I don't think you can see it in this picture)

I never thought to look but I believe the darker colored trucks (like mine was) did not have the charcoal "71" lettering so you may need to go all silver on a darker truck...

edit: okay I'm having a brain fart...were both the "Z" and the "71" charcoal on the lighter trucks?

I really liked that truck(94')...traded it for a 96' Cummins when it started giving me problems the dealer just threw parts at... had I known about forums like "the page" back in the day...I may still be driving it...

My 4x4 stickers now are like that, but they aren't shiny like I thought they would be. I am not sure what I want now. LOL I really like a few of the ones I have posted here but am not sure which is why I am trying to get other opinions. I guess no matter what I do it will be different than everyone else so.
