ok guys probably a stupid question but i am stupid:D. i want to figure out how to copy, say, a how to guide from this forum to my laptop memory. for instance if i am out doing something on someones truck where i dont have an inet connection and dont have access to a printer to print it out prior. it is for a friend of mine who's notebook i am on right now. he wants to be able to copy home info to his notebook for review at a later date and not have to print a hundred pages.

depends on what you are trying to save.

a thread is easiest saved by (ok i am on chrome, but in firefox)
you can just print and save as pdf.

you can select copy all and paste into word. That could get nasty, I prefer the pdf file save as.
