The previous owner of my '93 3500HD accidentally broke the wiring connector off the coolant temp sensor that goes into the front of the driver side head. Since it screwed up the sensor and the wiring harness I had to get a new pigtail.

Problem is the pigtail has 2 wires, where as the harness only has 1 wire. It does not read correctly, regardless of how it is wired. The parts stores around town only seem to have the 2 wire pigtail. Is this a dealer part or am I missing something here?
