Coolant leaking

I have an occasional coolant leak. It seems to leak over night when it is cold (like 10ish). This morning there was a small wet spot on the driver side. I can see it dripping from the rear of the engine where the allison bolts onto it. Could be running from anywhere though. The dealer looked it over when it was there yesterday and couldn't find anything. Anyone else ever have this problem with an LB7?

You really need to get under the truck and have a good look. Look for traces of dried antifreeze deposits. Could be water pump leaking and wind blowing the coolant to the rear where it drips, or could be coming from top of engine and dripping down.

Sounds like the head gaskets are leaking the coolant externally. How much coolant are you going through?

There is an oil cooler on that side that could be leaking. The two coolant problems I've had are the head gaskets and the water pump. The water pump leaked at the front of the motor and the head gaskets caused the tank to blow off after filling the system with pressure.
