all right guys ive got another question for you. as ive stated i just got my new motor in and running this last month.got the code 78 handled by backing off the t/m spring,(thanks to buddy and friends) now ive gotten advise that i need to do a re-learn procedure to get a baseline setting on the timing.sounds reasonable to me,question is,does it have to be done with a tech 2 scanner and nothing else will do?im in so. cal and as much as i hate to admit it, theres not a ton of love or support for the 6.5 near me.seems its easier to go buy a d-max than build a beast yourself. oh well to each his own.anyway if you can give me any info on this id greatly appreciate it.the truck runs great but i want to make sure its right.also if i can ever figure it out ill fill out my signature. thx again.

I completely forgot Leroy was a vendor for Scantech.

Sorry Leroy, I won't let it happen again.:D
