Yep. That's the place. I figured that was it. I know 6.2s and that is usually the first sign of IP death. Wanna buy a Tahoe cheap ??

She deserves to live again.

That's for sure. i wonder what i'm going to do with the spare dud IPs.

anyone need a fancy looking doorstop? :rolleyes5:

the worst part of the job is that i've got to drop the fuel tank and see how much crap is in there. i'm not putting a new or reman IP on and having it suffer the same fate if there is indeed crap in the fuel tank. the tank's got the skidplate over it so i don't' even know how badly rusted it may be.

I was going to say that.

how tough is it to drop the fuel tank on a blazer kenny? It looks somewhat straight forward. drop skid plate, drop tank after's it's emptied one would think.

i just don't want to end up trashed the sending unit trying to get it out as it's probably been in there since the truck was new.

Can ya cut/make an access hole/flap in the bed anywhere? Would be useful, and depending on condition of your truck, mighr already be half way there :)

i can get a whole new tank for $140. i'll bet the tanks pretty shot, but it'll come down and i'll take a peek inside. if it's shot a new tank will go in it's place.

Matt i'd prefer to not make more holes in the truck. ):h Mother nature has that very well covered. :mad2:

She's a whore...:)

DieselPro would probably make sure you got a good pump.

Only hear good things about Pensacola also, but they won't be building a pump "A La Minute".....They'll probably just pull one off the shelf.

I"ve got a Dieselpro DB2 on order.
