What are some of the common oil leaks on the front of a 6.2? Mine appears to have a leak somewhere near the lower radiator hose connection to the water pump. The oil is somehow getting onto and dripping from the frame cross member. Any Ideas? This is an 86 CUCV with 49K on the clock.

the only spots for oil to leak from is the timing cover or the front crank seal in the cover. If it's lower than that it may be the timing cover/oil pan seal. the fan makes it hard to find sometimes

Agree with Just a number most likely the front crank seal oil getting flung around by the fan. Clean it up with brake clean, start it up and watch for drips.
