cold start problem, no.. no cold run problem LOL

My 95 yuk starts right up but now that it is getting colder, it idlesfor a bit then starts to fart, cough and puke black smoke. the rpms jump around a bit. I have not had a chance to really look it over yet but i did unplug the ECT (witch is new) that did nothing. If i drive it i can feel it is still doing it and if i stop at a light it will lunge a little when it does it. If i drive 2 miles (to dunkin's) and shut it off, start it back up it runs fine. No codes, glows are new delco 60g. SO.... where should i start you think?

no codes, I did jus look under there and saw tha the groung to the frame buy the down pipe is broken. Looks like it has been off for some time.

I'll get that fixed aand see what that does

bout two months old from pensacola diesel

PMD's and ext. cables have been known to go bad......If you have a spare, atleast you could rule it out. (especially the cable)
