My sub stalled right after start up 2 days in a row then driving about 10 miles it went into limp mode. I pulled over and shut the truck off after restart it was aok. I checked the codes and got 36 inj pulse width error long and 72 vehicle speed sensor loss. Any ideas ? I have a road trip coming up with the inlaws and don´t want any probs. Thanks for any replys g

The code 36 I believe can be air in the fuel system. The code 72 should come along with a malfunctioning speedo as well I would think. If the speedo is working then it is probably a wiring issue somewhere.

Thanks ferm for the reply. Do you know what makes the speedo function? Tranny? And yes the speedo is still functioning.

Intermittent PMD or ground issue can also cause both of these; 36 tends to be a 'cascade' code, and if you can get it to stop, often you can get the others to disappear.
