code 25,why

the 95,wifes truck.
my wife starts her truck during the day when it's very cold a couple of times and let it warm up some,just so it'll start by the time she gets off work.

She lets it normally run on high idle,yesterday she noticed that the ses light blipped on and off once,and the speedo needle blipped up and down a few times too.No other probs. Engine temps normal.
This morning i retrieved code 25,intake temp circut high.

any idea on whats pending here?

i have no idea but when im warmin up the engine in the morning my speedo blips a couple times too. but no code

Dude, I show 25 as accelerator pedal position 2 circuit high

voltage greater than 4.75 volts for 2 secs on APP 2 sensor sets code

pedal harness is- tan is 5 volt reference, lt blue is sensor signal, ppl is ground for APP 2 sensor

should read 4.5 volts throttle closed. voltage will decrease as peddle moved to WOT.

how is high idle wired in??

Yep 25 is APP code. THere are 3 sensors and it only needs 2 to function completely, so it ignores that.

The IAT circuit high would be 48. Maybe you saw both and at one time the sensor was unplugged.

well damn, my scanner(hmm,cant trust that sucker either now) gave me the code with explanation,it was the only one.i'did'nt check the manuall.I did'nt check under the hood either, I just posted.

I'll leave it for now, see if it happens again. I got two spare APP's,so i'm good there.

The high idle is wired correct,been used 2 winters in a row without fail or hick ups.
