clutches. difference between 88 to 95 and 96 to 99

i know that in 96 they changed to the internal slave cylinder and i was wondering if any thing else about the late modle clutches is different from the earlier ones? like the stiffness of the pressure plate or maybe the thinckness of the clutch disc.
