Just wondering while I was cleaning my truck Sunday and listening to some music to clean the truck by, what others listen to.
As for me, one of my favorites is some sothern rock. Usually Lynard Skynard, Allman Bros, and Stevie Ray. Occasionally it'll be Balls out AC/DC, Def Leopard, or the like... and now & then a mess-o-Clapton. Every so often it's a bunch of C&W.
I have a real nice Yamaha/Bose (5 speakers) setup in my shop with a 5 disc CD changer so It can get pretty rockin' in there and I always wash the truck inside. (Yeah, I'm old, but I refuse to grow up all the way...:D)

Sirrius, channels 20-24. 22 is good because I love 80's. Never got into hair bands...Metallica is as hard as I went and they still rule the planet as far as I'm concerned. They dont get any better than that.

Guess I will be one of the old farts here but when I am in the garage I listen to the oldies of the 50's 60' and 70's because that is what I grew up with and still kick myself in the butt for not going with a friend to Woodstock like we planned to. But that music will rock for ever.

I need to clean my truck. Thanks for reminding me it's dirty Mike.

I've got a Pioneer 6 disk in the garage. 5 slots have my son's screamo crap and disc 6 is all mine. It starts with Asia, little bit of Iron Maiden then on to VH (Sammy) and then it ends with "against the wind" by Bob Segar because it's often the way I feel.

Probably Metallica, but even though we have water in the shop, I like washing outside when i can. Plus we have nothing besides an iHome in the shop. I like my quiet time. ;)

Family rule(tradition) when in the garage, there is but one station- 700 AM. And it must be a Reds game, of course it's not the same without Joe "Nuxie" Knuxhall. Those that are from around here know who I am talking about. For the rest, he was the only color commentator of the game that could call a fly grounder to right center left field. Quite an experience listening to him, great man in real life

METALICA was great, until they got haircuts. There music hasn't appealed much to me since they got haircuts. I can take load and re-load, but anything newer than that and I can't listen to it. As far as I'm concerned the black album was there peak. I still like's me some OZZY, and one of my favorite single songs is MUDVAYNE, Not Falling.

So far all good choices... except Kenny, of course...):h

):h
That's because I am "Disturbed". The best is my nieghbors kids across the street are 18 and 20 and there mother yelling at them for playing loud rock music saying "Kenny" doesn't want to hear that stuff, meanwhile I'm 41 and have some nice relaxing drowning Pool on the deck...

I have a broad range depending on my mood but to wash or wax the truck it's Disturbed, Tool, GodSmack, AcidBath, Pantera, Pappa Roach, Creed, Nirvana, RHCP, Incubus....:headbang:

When I am camping, nothing but old classic country, Hank sr, Lorettta, Buck Owens, Charlie Pride, Patsy, George etc....Drinking music:friday:

Daily driving, talk radio...:cussing:
