I got some Cipa Tow Mirrors and the instructions are for a 1994 - 2000 interior instructions.

Does anybody know if you have to remove the door panel on the 1993 to get these mirrors on? Or can I just remove the large plastic piece to get the mirrors changed out?

Thanks!

On my 98 Tahoe you just had to remove the triangular piece behind the mirror and everything was right there. Do your mirrors even have electrical hookups?

The door panel on the 93 is different than the 98. Yes, I have power mirrors on my truck. I will try to install them this weekend coming up.

I like them, this will be my second pair. The factory GM mirrors are worthless for towing. So I put them on my 98 Chevrolet K3500 crew cab dually that I had a few years back. The worked great and I loved them. On my 98 they were easy to install. On my 93 the entire door panel has to be removed. :mad2:

I finally got them installed, it took a couple of hours since every single one of the plastic fasteners broke. I had to go too two different auto part stores to find enough of them. I had to take the entire door panel off to get them installed. It is a lot easier on the 95 up body style, all you have is the small panel over were the mirror attaches. So far I like them 100% better than the factory ones. Which I will post for sale sometime next month. They will get the real test when I drive to work tomorrow.

I will post pictures in two weeks when I get out of the field.
