Anyone seen one of these before? It looks like there is a motorcycle engine in the engine compartment. I guess that is the air compressor.

I don't see Nuthing!

X2

Except I think he is asking what the motocycle looking thing is inside the engine bay. More than likely its the air compressor, just trace the line coming off of it and see if it feed into the air tanks. If there arent any air tanks, well then that answers the first part of your question!

Though pickups don't come stock with engine mounted air compressors, but theres always the chance someone added and aftermarket engine driven one!

6 grand seems pretty cheap for that. The interior is immaculate as is the engine bay. With the utility body, compressor and gen set, that won't last long...

Well, note that the ad says that the rig has an 'under-hood driven air compressor' AND an Onan gen set. I wonder if the engine was kept idling all the time in order to run the air compressor. It could have thousands of idling hours on it. Just a thought.

The brown int with the slime green paint is the cats a$$. (severe sarcasm implied) But seriusly that could be one hellava nice service truck. Plus you get a AAA battery free!!!!!!!!!!!

wow. That's a gorgeous truck. Man and with all that extra stuff I'd take it in a heartbeat. Anybody wanna loan me 6K and a plane ticket to this place? :D

If it were mine I'd try and move the compresser out from under the hood and make it hyd, or pto driven. There is already no room in there and way to much heat. Just my .02.
