Transgo Jr.

Since you've not had a tuner on it already. I'm sure your clutches are in good shape.

Talk to the Vendors here, I'm sure they can fix you up with some good prices. :)

transgo jr for sure talk to mat on here he has good prices thats were i got mine

Yep.

The Jr. Under $200 i think. Easy Install.

And If you get bored you can always add a tranny pan, doesnt do tons on a stock tranny, but still does something and gives you something to do to your truck.

what exactly is the trasgo jr kit and how hard is the install? im pretty concerned about doin tranny work to tell yall the truth :(

what are the advantages of having like a deep pan? all i can figure out is that they increase the fluid capacity but theyre kinda expensive imo

I was in Reno for a show last weekend for Street to Sand and they are set-up for HP tuners...its inexpensive and he can get rid of the torque managment and get you to 22mpg with a 120hp tune

It's a valvebody mod. Therefore you don't to have to drop the whole tranny, just the vavlebody. Added springs and a few other goodies for more holding power. Better start saving for the big upgrade. It only get's more addictive...:D

The install of the Transgo Jr. isn't bad at all. When Chad and I did mine it took us about 2.5 hours total. Nothing really hard about it. You just have to take your time so nothing gets mixed up or dropped and lost. Definetly worth the money. I believe they retail for around $140.00. They are perfect for the guy that wants to run a mild tune. Hope this helps.

To install the transgo, you have to drop the valvbody. There is a few little BB sized balls that you put in, and a couple of springs. Its easy just dont get too curious with stuff.

deep pans increase capacity therfore keeping temps down. They also have ribs in them to radiate heat away keeping it even cooler.

The price really isnt all that bad, and your gonna need one evetually.

dam guys i really needa start savin for all this stuff ;)

idk if its just me but the thought of workin on my tranny just scares the daylights out of me...i really have no clue what im doin on that kinda stuff lol. last thing i wanna do is f up my tranny. that would be an expensive fix :(

arent the deep pans a couple hundred dollars too? seems like way too much for a peice of metal. guess its more the idea that your payin for.

If you need a kit, let me know. I can do one for under $100 shipped to your door. Install is not bad at all either so long as you have a little mechanical skills.

really. I might be contacting you shortly champion. I wanted to wait till our new shop was done so I could have a nice lift to do it. But Thats gonna be a little while and im getting antsy.

I did mine myself. The worst part is all the dang bolts that hold the valve body in. When I first pulled the pan I thought what the heck am I doing, but it turned out to be easier than I thought. If you can use a lift I would or you'll have a huge mess. The instruction are pretty good, just take your time.

under 100 shipped? dam thats cheap, what all can you get out of the kit, like how much more power/torque can you run etc?
