Im in the process of doing my 6.2 with a ATS turbo swap into my 1990 K5 blazer. The question I had was do I run a CDR valve between the turbo or just a pipe between the oil filler neck and the intake pre turbo. The factory setup for the ATS is directily to the turbo with no cdr valve.

the CDR is mainly an emissions thing with the side benefit of keeping the seals from leaking. The more boost you run the more vac you pull on the crankcase which can lead to oil consumption. The CDR has a valve in it that under high vac situations closes to avoid that. 99.9% of the time it will be open.

So I guess that is a "YES", run a cdr valve. got one off a 1992 6.5 with single in and out. My old one off the J code 1984 intake had 1 inlet and 2 outlets.
