I replaced the OEM fitting that stabbed into the turbo intake boot because it was leaking. I installed a bulk head fitting in the boot, but it is still leaking at the inlet nipple. Eventually that inlet nipple will be connected to a the outlet of a CKO ProVent catch can. Truck has blowby and consumes a quart of oil per 1K miles.

I cleaned the passenger side engine area. Pics are after 25 mile drive. What do I need to do to clean up this leak?

Also looks like it’s leaking from the hose at turbo outlet.

almost all of the engines I have seen, both at work and both my trucks the first time I pulled them apart, those hoses always seem to have evidence of red RTV silicone where they were sealed on the bung where it clamps at. if there are any imperfections in the aluminum, with all the pressure from the turbo they can seep oil and boost pressure through the roughness on the casting.

A closer look at the plastic bulkhead on the intake tube shows leakage around the threads of the bulkhead it's self. is that 90 fitting part of the bulkhead or a separate fitting threaded into the bulkhead? you might pull it all apart, clean up well and use some red RTV on the bulkhead where it sammiches the boot and the threads.

The 90 fitting is part of the bulkhead.

Where can I order the silicone hoses for the turbo to intake?

pull one off and measure it. iirc it's a 2" hose. run by a kenworth or peterbuilt dealer and ask for them. these are a standard part for the cummins n14's and others. 2" x 3" silicone turbo pressure hose iirc. take one in with you and they can see that you need the straight one and not the type with the bellows and steel rings like the newer engines use.

Alright, with all the rain that we had the yard is too muddy to do tractor work, so I’m focusing on smaller projects on the trucks.

Went out to go through the turbo hose and boot connections on the ‘94. First off the clamp on the hose was not very tight, so I must have forgot to finish that on the install. Before after pics attached. Also the bulkhead fitting was not very tight, so that got some attention and we’ll see how it all works.
