Nick: Is it better to go with the stock yellow shock, or the Zinc 0-1.5"? Is there a ride difference between the 2? Does the zinc plating last longer than the regular yellow painted shock?

I prefer the Zinc 0-1.5" for a stock truck. If you stack them next to each other the benefit's of the Zinc 0-1.5" is better valving on the compression and rebound for 90% of the common HD users. And the fact that it has more travel to them in my books makes since hands down. These trucks have the biggest issue of travel and how people use it (over max it) and that is mainly why everyone chases a better ride. So to spend money and limit whats available doesn't make since.

Oh and I will add people feel that the compression is what the problem is for the ride on the HD's but it's not, it has to deal with the rebound more than anything. Large truck, heavy rated springs for load and lack of shock control or topping out to fast and to often is the key issue.

I finally got around to installing the yellow Bilstiens i got from Nick on my 1 ton dually, all i can say is WOW. Like i got a new truck, thanks for the reccomendations Nick!!!

Hey that is great !!!

Also if I may ask for anyone that purchases from us on line to go back and PLEASE write a review on the product. That is a great way for others to read a real reflection to a out side point of view. I push what I feel is great and people do take that but of course reading a fellow truck owners point of view is great.

Thanks!!

I picked up the silver ones on a 3 for 1 sale last year to replace my worn out rancho 9000's ( less than 1 year I might add) and the diff is night and day. Towing my 37' TT was the major improvement, no more divided concrete oscillation. I don't care if any other brand is free, these are the only shocks that will ever be under my truck, period! My only regret was not listening to everyone and getting them sooner.

**** Question that has been asked *****

"Do I get a discount if I order a lift package that has the Bilstein shocks included?"

Yes if you are looking at a lift package that has Bilstein's in it we can offer the discount. The Cognito leveling kits do not have the full free forth shock but there is a discount. All discounts will be applied before your CC is ran but does not show on our pre-packaged lift kits on our on-line store. Sorry it would be to much work to change all of them to change right back, BUT we will give you the discount.

Good question!!
