Offer him 800 cash.

I use to hate towing burners.... man that stink.............. especially when its fresh, all wet and all from the Fire Dept.......... Throw those gloves away.

payments getting heavy. Dodge may burn....Lot's a fuel leaks....
Be careful that thing look pretty burnt. The engine could be damaged warped etc.

ACE, you on a rotating avatar?? new pics all the time.

I wonder how many other guys/gals run fire extinguishers on their rigs? I have not needed mine but helped others out with electrical fires and one grass fire in the ditch.

Wierd, I was actually looking at that tonight......truck doesn't seem too bad, but it seems like too much for it, the motor is pretty burnt.

Trust me, it is not much fun scraping melted plastic and aluminum off of a motor just to get the head bolts out!

plus if it was a creat motor wont it be a later block with the squirters in it and from what iv read they can be a nusace. i may go take a look at it just for the doors and ill see about those fenders depending on how badly they are burnt. my fenders and doors are beyond repair and that would be alot cheaper than replacements. he said it was caused by bad wireing from the fog lights, a short im guessing so some one didnt put a fuse on it or something like that

That thing looks pretty toasted. Theres alot more burnt there then just the wireing harness.

I was just thinking of a fire extinguisher last night too as I vacuumed out the diesel soaked mouse nest from the engine valley. Kinda thinking i might go buy another one

I carry fire extingushers in every vehchle and have one in every room of my house. Live in the sticks, no public water=no fire hydrants. when something burns it burns to the ground.

It might not be a later block, a lot of the crate motors were remans, thus a later block. For instance, my 6.2 has a GM crate motor that was replaced in about 94 or 95, but it is a late 80s 660 block instead of the newer 599.

I have a fire extinguisher mounted on the hump to the right of the 4x4 floor shift. It looks nice there.

It is a requirement in order to get my transfer tank inspectino sticker. But also a great idea.
