I was just out getting lunch when pulling out of the parking lot the suburban just died, like someone turned off the key. I put the truck in park and started cranking it, no fire. Since I was in a busy area I let the truck roll back into a parking spot and opened the hood to have a look. I turned the key back on and then didn't hear the lp. I shut the key off and turned it back on again and the lp came on, cranked it and it fired right up and off down the road I went. What should I look for here, I have a lot of driving this afternoon and considering going home to get a different vehicle. What do you guys think?

My PMD is relocated to the fender well behind the drivers side battery, it was done before I got the truck. I do have a backup to put on it, just not with me.

Well, it could be ignition switch issues. When you intially tried to crank it back up and then you didnt hear the LP, do you remember if the glow or SES light came on with the ignition? The LP is run by the PCM with ignition power when it does glow time. If the contact on the ignition switch is finicky it will cut power to the PCM and kill the truck like you shut if off. dash lights and radio may stop working. So if it actually felt like you turned off the key and radio cut and everything, looking at the ignition switch
