Brake Switch Replacement

I have changed couple of those, it is doable without any disassembly, but it is pain in the ass when doing first time

I figured that out on my own when I was doing the backstroke with a flashlight just fighting to see the damn thing.

Any tips? How does it attach?

I don't mind a little dis-assembly, but don't want to remove unnecessary things, what do you recommend I remove to make job easier?

Just break the old one clip and all . Make sure you buy a new clip . Doubtful you'll save the old one. Column does not need to come down./ I used two prybars and just popped(broke) the old one off. Slid new one on with new clip.

The clips are pretty easy to save (well maybe not in this cold weather) just pull the clip off of the pedal the pull straight down.

The new one has to be calibrated, just push the pedal all the way down, and then pull the little slide backwards and you are good to go!

You must have pretty small hands. After alot of cussin and some bloody knuckles I broke mine off. Even the parts guys said it's rare that they come off nicely.

Nope, I just spent my fair share of time in high school doing body work. I got very good at being careful with plastic crap when pulling headliners down!
