Hello,

i'm still gathering parts for a rear disc conversion.
I found the 76-78 eldo calipers, still looking for brackets and lines, and I will have to look for rotors and pads.

About pads, what should you recommend and why? Semi-metallic, ceramic? riveted, bounded?

Matuva,
Here is a site to use for a reference for the parts you are looking for. I would not purchase from them unless you just don't have the time to make one yourself. They list all the parts out, I find it helpful!

here is a link!

I'm heavier than average, and I heard ceramic work better with load, but regardless I'm on 2nd set of ceramic's and I really like em. Good wear, no rusty dust.

:iagree:I make it into that 'heavier' class too. got the ceramics up front for almost 3 years and they might be half worm. I destroyed the standard ones in a year if I was lucky.

well, ceramic pads are supposed to be superior to semi-metallic. They're all I use.

Funny thing is though, they usually aren't the most expensive.

I dont' cheap out one bit when it comes to brakes, but ceramics are always cheaper, and what i use.

Really? I usually get pads from Checker/O'Reilly and they seem to be more expensive.
