Looking for a good quality brake controler for my 06. Something digital would be nice to match the other digital components going into the cab (Edge insite and memphis DVD) BUT a standard controller would be fine too.

Let me know some opinions.

Do we have any vendors selling them?

I have a TEKONSHA PRODIGY P2 now. My first origanal style PRODIGY made it over 6 years and 3 trucks, so I figured I would go with another one. They can be found for around $130, some a little more and others a little less. Just make sure and keep your receipt as they are lifetime warrnty to the origanal purchaser with sales receipt(I lost my receipt is the reason I had to buy another one).

Avoid the blue LED *expletive deleted* like the plague! Flashing numbers at night the recommended brand above is simply blinding in blue at night! the N.C. for no connection when not towing annoys you all the time at night when first activated. Any other color LED will do very well. LCD displays are usually hard to read for older eyes...

X2 on the Prodigy. I think I still have the first version. Nonetheless, it works flawlessly. Very easy to set up. The Duramax's should come with a pigtail that makes hookup even easier.

I will agree that the blue LED's are annoying, but the P2 works so much better than the origanal PRODIGY ever worked for me. I think I'm gonna try and find a piece of window tint or something to put over mine to try and dim it down. Teh NC doesn't bother me as I just unplug it when I'm not using it and store it in my center console.

Another positive vote for the Prodigy (red LEDs) like I have. Works perfectly and is real easy to dial in for extra weight. I pull up to around 16k with it.

This one isn't available any longer from what I found when I bought my replacement. The newer blue LED P2 works the same, but I felt it was smoother in adjusting the voltages to the brakes myself.

I have heard prodigy and P3, and I am saving up for one of them. as near as I can tell, the P3 has a big display screen, otherwise it is a prodigy.

as many rigs as I run, I was thinking about getting a metripak terminal set, and rigging up a connector for each truck, and a connector for the brake controller. that way, I can remove it to get rid of the light, and have one or two to share with the whole fleet.

All of the PRODIGY controllers use a plug in the back and a mount that is designed to allow the controller to be removed in a few seconds. I take mine and keep it in the console when not in use, and when I want to use it it takes only a few seconds to plug it in and go. You can buy extra mounting kits that come with a mount and pigtail for about $20 on Ebay(or at least you used to be able to). I know the old style red PRODIGY and the current P2 both look the same and use teh same mount and plug. I believe teh P3 does as well though.
