I put a reader on my 95 K2500 4WAL Kelsey Hayes and here are the codes it throws it 21 22 23 25 which is right front wheel sensor fault, missing right front wheel sensor signal, erratic right front wheel sensor, Left front speed sensor.

Ok I get the front is messed up electrically sensors are bad.

However the other issue is the brakes are soft pedal almost right to the floor but does not seem to be losing fluid. Looking for the experts to start throwing things at me I can look into meanwhile the front is coming apart new rotors pads sensors probably and hoses.

Thanks in advance

The front is up tires are off and everything is sprayed with penetrating oil. I love having airtools

I really wish I had a bigger shop since my truck won't fit into mine it hangs out the garage door.

So I get to do this in the driveway in the rain again. I really want to build a 24 x 30 in the backyard I better get on it.

Yeah fluid reservoir seems awfully loose I am definitely going to bleed the whole system down I just replaced both rear MC 2 yr ago think they might have gone again?

MC= master cylinder of which there is only 1 under the hood. I think your thinking of wheel cyls

Check your bearings for play or stickiness. Check the tip of your sensor for metal filings. The ABS usually fails due to worn wheel bearings.

soft pedal could be MC leaking internally

Yeah you got it

I am not quite sure how I missed the brake fluid on the bracket as all the paint on it is bubbled up. Pulled off the MC it was wet on the back end so I will say it was leaking out. Local parts store has them in stock.

I'm going to go brand new rather than fight with the old stuff it's going to cut down repair time considerably. Cost goes up but ease of installation is worth it in my opinion.

I've had more trouble with the wire on the sensor than anything

Wire was flat in a spots where it attached to the brackets one even pinched no exposed wires but since further reading involves check the voltage output while the hub is turning or using an oscilliscope to measure the output signal. I would have to bring the parts to work with me to do this.

some good info for Kelsey-Hayes 4wal

I have problems with wiring and bearings. The wiring problems are tough to figure out. I've replaced several senders when the dealer code reader indicated a short or fault in a specific sensor and nothing. I finally got the ABS working on my '99 and I honestly cannot tell you specifically what change corrected it. It's been working for a solid 2 months and working well.

Many thanks for that link. I'm sure it will be needed in the future.
