The other day I missed the right turn blinker indicator light on the dash. It wouldn't light up when I turned blinker on. The left one was working fine.

When I got home I looked and all the lights were working (usually the indicator comes on solid when a bulb is out). When I got back in the truck there the indicator was blinking. ????

Tonight on the way home in the dark the high beam indicator would not light up. I just went to check if a bulb was out and the inner lights come on on high beam with the outer off. On low beam the outer lights are on only. I get back in the truck and the blue high beam indicator is on like normal.

????? Am I having a ghost visit or what????. Is this what happens when the dash cluster is getting ready to crap out?

I just took out the buzzer module a few weeks ago because I don't like to hear it buzz ever. And 2 days ago I replaced the wiper control module board. That it for recent work.

I would clean all your grounds... Especially the one on the back driver side head.

YES...I agree with the last two posts. When you remove the cluster, clean the copper connectors on the circut board, where it all meets up, where it makes contact with the Molex connector. They get dirty....cause all kinds of havoc.

Cheers!

If lights acts wacky or strange, it is a grounding problem.
If the don't work, equal what you do, it is a voltage problem (no voltage at the bulb, etc.)

Engine ground on block would create other issues than a signal/high beam problem. Did you hear the clicking of the turn signal without light?

Could be the difference between instrument panel or turn signal/high beam switch. Did the high beam headlights actually switch without the blue indicator lighting up on the dash?

No clicky and no change in the head lights, lean toward turn signal mechanism. Otherwise looking toward instrument panel realm.

Thanks for the ideas. Its been ok lately and I am not going to chase this kind of electrical problem too hard until its a little more steady. I'll probably peak under dash, bump a few things, and try and correlate when it does what a little more.

The turn signals seem to blink steady like normal so I don't think ?.? its the flasher relay or switch. The high beam lights seemed to work correctly with out the blue head light indicator too.

So I am thinking its some corrosion on the instrument panel connector or circuitry/bulb issues.
