best place to buy radiator

I'm not sure anymore what kind of radiator I put in the 89. It came with a lifetime warranty and lasted a long time before I had to cash in on that warranty

It used to be that a local radiator shop could recore you radiator for about the same price as new. The shop I take mine to, offers a double warranty over new rads on their recores. The guy told me that when they recore there is more solder on the tubes than new radiators have. That's why they can warranty them longer.
There's also the bonus of keeping someone local working and having local warranty.

I miss our local radiator man.
His radiators were always better than OEM's. He also would figure out how to make anything anybody wanted for the most part.

Best replacement radiators are "Visteon" they are well made and OEM or better quality.

There is a lot of crap out there. If the core is epoxied, its not worth squat.

I bought a new visteon for the DaHoooley was about $275

The expoxied radiators have the tubes epoxied to the header and once the epoxy cracks (and it will) its game over.

The good ones are aluminum brazed.

Bob's radiator shop on 83rd and I in Omaha (or somewhere nearby). The guy who owns it, Bob, is an honest guy and I had my radiator the same day and didn't have to pay for shipping, and it was only like $110 bucks.
