Hey all,

I did some searching and can't remember, and so I wanted to ask:

What is the best injector pop PSI?

power be damned, engine life and mpg are all I care about. :)

I think someone said 2250, is that correct?

Does it hurt the IP to go much higher than that?

Thanks!

those are pretty good numbers. Might want to bump (advance) the timing a tad to compensate for the later injection

IIRC, local Stanadyne dealer commented that the OE pop was 1,800 knowing that I had the turbo..

I went with 2,300 on my marines based on other people's experience and Burb's the system seems to like it. Admittedly, I have not tried other settings for comparison.

From what I recall, OE injectors are good up to 2,200 and marines are good with 2,300. Had not dug into the NA numbers. Higher than those numbers and recall that it dorks with the IP's ability to flow (and perhaps a better expert can give a more technical explanation if appropriate).
