As the title states, i just recently watched the Project Farm additive v additive video, and im torn between HotShot and Standydne and Howes

My question to you all is, which additive for lubrication and to prevent gellup do you all use? I've been running Howes lately but I'm not sure, any suggestions would help

I thought Optilube won that test

I don't like antigel that gels up unless mixed with diesel.

The Hotshots did that. I think Howes might also

Welcome Jeremy.
He used the wrong one in that video- Stanandyne makes about half dozen additives.

Then the 6.2/ 6.5 is VERY different than newer common rail diesels.
NEVER use an emulsifier.

Outside that as a starting point…

I see, so i should use Stanadyne?

All emulsifiers (mixes in the water) is bad for these.
The best thing is removing water before it can freeze but that is a way to spend $1,000 quickly.

I recommend the Stanadyne LUBE additive not the de-ice one. But once gelled you are stuck.

Long term Fass lift pump with their heater and filters. The fass water separator filter removes basically every drop. The higher water amount the easier it will gell.
