Anyone have bed sides that mount to the top of your truck bed sides? I have a diamond plate protector plate on the top of my sides, so I'll have to cut holes or find another way to mount the sides...and I don't use them that often...but I have an opportunity to get some wood, and I'd really like to have sides. I just thought of some 2' hollow wood doors I could use as sides....hm...

Anyone have pics or thoughts?

Oh, side note - I don't mind cutting the diamond plate to get to the stake holes...I just would like some ideas. I have no interest of covering my crossover toolbox considering it seems whenever you cover it, you usually need something from it. So - it'll start ~2" after the toolbox. The sides should be AT least to the top of the cap (height wise) and extend to the tailgate. If I can figure out how to make a back "side" as well, that'd be nice too.

Not a great picture, but I made mine out of 2x6's, comes apart easy and works well. I used lag bolts with regular thread on the end to attach the cross pieces behind the cab. Home Depot has em, they're used for stair posts. Can fit just about a cord in my bed.
