While removing fan clutch today i noticed my bolts i my crank pulley were offset from the rubber by the stops.

I grabbed it with 2 hands and could rotate it to the stops, inner rubber never sealed.

I found my old original and put that back on.

This part was a month old, resolved my clunking issue, was baffled, as I assuemd new pulley was good.

The Napa ones are chinese made junk. I bit the bullet and bought mine from GM although Heath Claims the one he sells is made by same manufacturer as GM. Probably won't be able to get GM ones much longer if at all.

I replaced mine last year, from NAPA.

The balancer and pulley both had Dorman labels on the boxes.

Dorman is supposed to be the best harmonic balancer after Fluidampr.

Box said mfg for Balkamp.

mfg'd in one of the following, korea, china, usa, australia

right on the back on the rubber is the part # with the 5 letters immediately following the part number are

CHINA

BTW it idles smoother now on high idle with the factory one in there... of course it being shifted around would offset the balance....

I am so happy I didn't throw a chinese HB in there, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night until it was replaced.

I didn't say you couldn't get one from China from napa.

I said you can get Dorman's through Napa. ( at least I did )

If it's not a Dorman, I wouln't buy it!
