Got ahold of a tank with an electric pump on it and don't need another for diesel, but would be nice to have one for gasoline for around the yard. My question is it safe to pump gasoline with the electric pump or would I need to change to a manual pump? Don't know the make/model of the pump as any stickers or stamps are not present.

The flash point on gas is way higher and I don't think that pump would meet the specs. I wouldn't want to even try it, it could get really nasty and hot fast.
