Anyone Seen this before?

Right, the car on the dyno went 12,000 miles, well of course it did, its all go, no stop and go and its at a controlled temp, dumbass's.

I can see car manufacterers going nuts over this, that old guy said 15,600 MILES!!!!!!!!

I was on a forum where the guy did oil analysis using Amsoil synthetic in a Camaro, changed the filter 2-3 times and got 14K out of it then it was done.

You oil analysis from a local or national lab is your best bet. I get 10K out of the oil on my Duramax so the mileage claims are not out of sight. But the oil analysis tests the TBN, Total Base Number and the remaining additives like zinc. Also I get silicon, dirt, and trends of wear metals. The analysis confirmed GM's oil life monitor system was accurate at a 10K oil change. One fellow on here caught a cracked block from oil analysis before it blew up.

This device will not give you the clear picture oil analysis will. I invite you to try oil analysis out and see how long your oil is really good for. This device isn't the same and not worth it.

I have went to 25k miles without a oil change on my DMax, I sent in samples and they would come back ok....just changed the filters and top off and keep running.

25K? Shit I don't even let my fuel filter go half that long without change!

Guess its just me. I change my oil every 3K. Its defiantly excessive, but I know that it has good clean fluid flowing around often
