From what I seen on the news they trash the engine right away. Then the scrap yards crush it and send them on a boat to china.

I don't think he was talking about seeing them for sale - me thinks he was referring to how sad it would be if any of us were to see someone dumb enough to cash in one of our beloved 6.5's for some ObamaCash!
I did see a nice looking late 80's 6.2 running down the road - the guy had huge vinyl lettered sign made for the back window that read "KLUNKER" :thumbsup:

Lol, then they strip the parts down, stamp the parts with the 5 lovely letters C H I N A and sell them back to USA as new!

lol me and my buddy got a nice lund bumper and a tail gate for his truck for free. The guy at the dealership said he didn't care cuz there gettin crushed anyways ppl were takin parts like crazy. ppl had takin the rims from full sized trucks and replaced them with 14 inch donut tires lol

Around here they don't get crushed, they send them to the junkyard and they just sit there like any other truck.

Here the Dodge/GM dealer (end of this year, GM contract is done) has a back corner for Clunkers, and they are wise, as they didn't get paid ObamaCash yet, so the trucks are waiting, if the cash doesn't get paid, they are getting washed and vaccumed and put up for sale again. Lots of C/Ks, but no 6.5s
Down at Hays KS, there is a high concentration of Furd trucks with CFC written on them, not too many C/Ks, and I dind't spot any nostrils, so all is well!
It really bugs me that we are junking these KS trucks, according to my classmate from IN, you guys east of the Miss. need all the no to low rust KS trucks you can get!

Here in michigan the salt eats them up, if you have a rust free nice chevy people eyeball it like miss california.
