Anyone near Tracy, CA that can look at a 3 door 6.5 Pickup?

Although I posted in the deal finder I just don't know that 1995 had 3rd doors on the extended cab. Also a little high price for a 2WD.

But I am interested in it and am having some issues not being able to communicate in Spanish that well. :hihi:

3 Door diesel?

From my research the 3 door extended cab started in 1996. It was only available in 1/2 ton gas trucks. I can not see the 3rd door seam and in a white truck you should be able too, even with the poor quality pic. Beware of a scam!!
That said I have been looking around for parts to build a 3/4 ton, extended cab, 3 door, short bed. I just need the right two "cheap" donor trucks.
 
When I was searching for my truck there was one for sale fairly close to where I lived. They at least had pictures of the open door. 1996 too IIRC and IDK about limited to 1500's only but I do recall someone else mentioning a limited model offering. Searching for 3rd Door gets every post that mentions 'Door' so you're on your own for a search on the subject. Sorry.

The extended cab 3rd door was only on the passenger side in the GMT400 (88-98) body style, and it never came with the extended cab 4 door. GMT800 99-06 had extended cab 4 door models. I can not find the gasser only reference now but I have yet to see a 3 door diesel.
 
May be a early 1996? And has to be a 1500. Seller is not sending pics.
 
Called and spoke with em again. Not a 3 door!

I did a BUNCH of research in the GM EPC on this.

For GMT400s
The 3rd door started in 96. It was optional during the entire run from 96-99. It was only available on 1/2ton pickups.

For GMT800s
99s had only a passenger side 3rd door. In 00 they started building them with the 4th door. 99s are a somewhat odd year, lots of unique one off year options then.
