Has anyone here that has a Winch Bumper (Ranch Hand, IB, RA, Buckstop, ect...) on their Trucks ever get into an Accident with it?

I know the "Object" you Hit would be pretty much Demolished, but what about the Damage to your Truck or the Bumper?

I have a feeling that with the added Strength of the Winch Bumper, you'd be able to sustain more of a Hit and have less Damage, but at the same time, I have a feeling that the Frame might bend easier and the Airbags might not Deploy when they really need to.

I hit a deer pretty hard once. Patrol truck appeared to have zero damage until I tried to remove the winch bumper the following year. Bolts were tweaked pretty bad, but I really couldn't see it until I tried taking the bolts off.

I hit a deer at about 45mph with an arb bumper and it didnt do anything except break one of my lights i had mounted on my bumper.

Yea, I was talking to an ARB Rep, and he said their Bumpers are designed to stand up to "Big Red", which is apparently a GIANT Kangaroo over in Australia. So atleast their Bumpers are designed to hit stuff.

I can give testament to two collisions with my bumpers here in town as well as numerous collisions around the country.... I know Im biased, but I am also honest.... I was doing 65 when a prius brake checked me and my truck was totally fine and the prius was totalled... we had an old employee hit a cement divder at 45 or 50 cuz hit pitman arm broke and his truck was ok.... I had one customer get into a violent head on with a drunk driver and he called and had a million thanks... he said the bumper saved his life and if it wasnt for the lift and the bumper that he would have been killed... airbags did deploy just fine.... and then numerous deer and what not have been taken out..... the bumpers to be weary of are the small no name guys that build them in the garage... they just try and throw them together and sell them where full production companies like ranchhand, fab fours, myself and others spend a lot of time and money on engineering the bumpers to be safe and strong

12 hours (no lie) after I mounted my ranch hand bullnose I hit a deer on the way to work...... No damage at 60 mph. Just a dead deer thrown in the ditch. by the bumper of course, I never saw it coming so I proceeded to work!

I can talk good about my competition... they dont scare me... I know I look worlds better... and im just as strong if not stronger.....

Finally got my Ironbull! Just waiting to see how many deer want to play in the road!

had some clown bend my frontier rear bumper last night.no damage to my truck besides the bumper.his tribute had to be towed away.

looking to get aftermarket bumpers myself, but i have to add. i hit a doe last week with my truck, and zero damage. shes in my freezer as we speak. hehe, mmmmmmmm! she walked out in front of me, but i hit her going 35-40. her head met my front bumper in the left quarter, and not a scratch.

that's amazing it didn't bend the stock bumper...they are soo weak. I bent mine a little bit by climbing a snow pile and pushing it into the snow. :bs2::lame:
