It's almost time again! Were going to Ocatillo Wells again this halloween. The kids will also be getting their new quads too. They were supposed to be Christmas gift's, but they will just be a little early.

I finally got some of the pics uploaded. I guess we didn't take enough. I managed to teach girl #2 how to operate her new quad. It has a manual trans, her old quad was a gas and go. So that was good and I didn't even lose my patients! She did great, I almost couldn't believe how well she did.

Glad to see the helmets on everyone. Looks like everyone is having a great time. I turned one of those things over one time on a little hill not 6' high. It would have really hurt if it would have landed on top of me.

It does hurt when they land on you. I did it a couple times, and have since given that up. I have a personal rule for myself, NO CRASHING! Most of the time I listen to that rule. LOL! All joking aside, we have a zero tolerance policy on safety gear for the kids. "If you do not have all your gear, you do not ride." That means helmet, gloves, riding pants and jersey, boots, helmet, goggles, and soon chest protectors. They will also be taking the rider safety coarse very soon. It is now the law here in CA that all minors must take the coarse or be supervised by an adult that has. I took the coarse 20 years ago, so we are covered on that, but will still have them do it too. The class is free, and maybe they will learn something I may have missed to teach them.
